Being a PADI Divemaster is very cool, but there’s a lot of work to be done to get there!
This course will train you to guide certified divers on their fun dives, teach snorkelling courses and help PADI Instructors in teaching various scuba courses and Discover Scuba Dives.
To reach this goal, you will build a broad theoretical foundation on both dive theory and rules and regulations on scubadiving and courses. Next to that you will spend a considerable amount of time in the pool, learning to demonstrate all diving skills and working on your rescue abilities. In the open water there will be excersizes and workshops like making an underwater map of a divesite and deep and search & recovery workshops.
Besides learning all these new skills and abilities, you will go through an internship where you will work with real students in courses, teaching Discover Scuba Dives and guide real divers.
For the PADI Divemaster course you should count on approximately 12 days, which are planned together with the Instructors.
To start the course, you will need at least 40 logged dives (60 for certification), a valid first aid (EFR) certification, a medical certificate and be at least 18 years old.
The price of the course is 799€, which is including the student materials and excluding the PADI application fee (appr. 128€)
